​Erie D. Chapman III, M.T.S., J.D. Founding President
  • Acclaimed Healthcare & Hospital System CEO, Erie Chapman is recognized as the founder of the loving care movement in healthcare (see Radical Loving CareR). Over fifty years he has led dramatic cultural change as head of three hospital systems including Riverside Methodist Hospital & as founding president of OhioHealth system (Columbus), President & CEO of Baptist Hospital System, Nashville (St. Thomas Midtown) founding President of Healing Trust (Baptist Healing Trust) and as a consultant.
  • He is an attorney, former Acting Judge, best selling author (Radical Loving Care and 7 other books), award winning filmmaker & film artist, published poet, ordained minister. Other work includes: Adjunct Instructor at University of Toledo Law School, Ohio State University and Vanderbilt University, Emmy Award Winning host & creator of the internationally syndicated T.V. show, "Life Choices with Erie Chapman", music composition & philanthropy.  ​He is also the author, under the pen name Dane Dakota, of Woman As Beauty - poetry and photographs.

​Liz Wessel, R.N. M.S.N. Associate Editor, Journal of Sacred Work.
Liz has been co-editing the Foundation's Journal weblog for caregivers since the year after it was founded in 2006. 
She simultaneously creates our weekend edition that is often accompanied by her magnificent artwork. 
Liz’s nursing career spanned over 45 years and she served in various leadership capacities to include clinical operations, palliative care, home health education and also as a Mission leader for Home & Community Care with Providence St. Joseph Health in Southern California.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS HAVE PLAYED IMPORTANT ROLES IN THE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE FOUNDATION. ALTHOUGH EACH IS NOW FOCUSED ON OTHER WORK, THEY ARE HONORED HERE.

Kawtar Azzouzi - Previous Associate 
Kawtar Azzouzi served the Foundation as a contract consultant in July -November, 2022. A graduate of The Art Institute of Chicago, Ms. Azzouzi assisted in both the arts and healthcare aspects of the Foundation's work including advising on the formation of the National Women's Film Project's and on our ongoing effort with the working title, "Unbearable Beauty. She is an accomplished artist, experienced in organizational interactions & speaks multiple languages.

Todd Meador - Long Time Contract Consultant
  • Mr. Meador served the foundation as a leadership consultant in 2016-2020 and now focuses on other work.  He has received training in motivational leadership and group dynamics. His expertise includes one-on-one leadership training as well as group presentations.
  • Todd has been directly involved with us in advancing culture change at Bingham Memorial Hospital & at Mercy San Juan Medical Center (Dignity Health)

Mark Evans - Independent Consultant Specializing in Human Resources
Mr. Evans long, varied and distinguished career includes service as Senior Vice President for Human Resources, OhioHealth & Riverside Methodist Hospitals and in key leadership positions at Federated Department Stores, The Columbus Dispatch & The Ohio State University. Mark also founded & heads MAE Solutions. Erie Chapman describes Mark as "the finest human resources leader in the country." He continues to advise the foundation on human resources matters. 

Other previous consultants who supported the Foundation's arts mission and deserve special thanks: 
Van Grafton, filmmaker and cinematographer who provided invaluable assistance on the creation of "Who Loves Judas?" and on our first films in the Alex Dreaming Series, "Amies Nues" and "Dreams of Drowning"; Minton Sparks (Jill Webb), who worked with the foundation helping
 train leaders on the cultural impact of story telling in healthcare and with our award winning films produced by Dane Dakota Productions, LLC including "Alex Dreaming" and "Dreams of Drowning" and others in Alex Dreaming Series, LLC, as well as art exhibits at the Dane Carder Studio/Gallery (2018), Vanderbilt Divinity School Gallery (2019), the foundation's gallery, and through the Alex Dreaming Series, LLC.; Tony Silva, cinematographer who worked with Mr. Grafton; Erica Scoggins, Associate Director of our short film, "Amies Nues" (2015);  Thanks also to Amy McManus and Nina Covington who also worked in our films and modeled for images in some of our exhibits.
